14 & Under Boys
Coach Corey Delahunt
Corey Delahunt is in his 6th year as the 14 Boys coach with the Newport Water Polo Foundation.  He began coaching in 2003 as an assistant varsity coach at Newport Harbor High School, where he continues to coach in addition to the Foundation.  Corey started playing water polo at Costa Mesa High School ans was twice named Pacific Coast League MVP.  Corey was also named CIF Player of the Year in 1990 while leading his school to the CIF Championship game.  Corey continued his playing career at Golden West College where he won two State Championships and was named to the All State Team.  In 1994, Corey won the bronze medal in the US Olympic Festival.  Corey states that "Newport Water Polo has a rich tradition and I am proud to be a part of it."

14 & Under Girls
Coach Rob Williams
Rob Williams is in his 12th year as a coach for the Newport Water Polo Foundation.  He coached a number of teams in the past, but has concentrated on the 14 Girls for the last 7 years.  Before coming to Newport, Rob was the Head Boys & Girls Water Polo and Swimming Coach at Huntington Beach High School for 10 years.
As a player, Rob attended Foothill High School were he was named Century League MVP his senior year and first team All-CIF and All-American.  He then went on to Long Beach State were he started all four years and earned All-Conference & All-American Honors his Junior and Senior years.  Rob also played briefly for the National "B" Team in the latter part of his career. 
Rob is currently a Lifeguard for the City of Newport Beach and is married with 3 daughters that are all involved in aquatics.  His two oldest are now in High School with his youngest daughter is playing for Newport.

12 & Under Boys
Coach Mike Peetz
Mike Peetz started his waterpolo career in Newport Youth Waterpolo when Matt Tingler was the head coach.  He then moved on to play at Newport Harbor High School as a three year varsity starter under then head coach Bill Barnett.  Mike was recognized as First Team All CIF as well as MVP of the Seaview League.
After high school Mike continued on playing at Golden West College.  During his two years he won two state championships and was apart of the very first team to go undefeated.  At GWC he was named to the All State Team.
Mike finished his AA degree and accepted a waterpolo scholarship to play at Pepperdine University.  He played all three years under our new head USA waterpolo coach Terry Schroeder.  Mike attributes waterpolo to being able to graduate from Pepperdine with a degree in Advertising.  One of Mike’s main goals for the program is to assist head coach Corey in building a first class program.
12 & Under Girls
Coach Brian Auer

Bryan played water polo and swam for Newport Harbor as a three-year varsity letterman.  He was named MVP of the JV team his freshman year, and started for the varsity squad for three years.  His senior year he was named co-captain along with Michael Bury.  He has been a Newport Beach Lifeguard and Junior Lifeguard instructor since 2002.  In addition to coaching the 12 and under girls, Bryan also gives private instruction in swimming and water polo.  His goals include helping develop the water polo skills of our athletes, as well as preparing them for higher levels of competition.

10 & Under Coed
Coach Tyler Galindo
Tyler "Bruno" Galindo started playing water polo his junior year at Edison High School. His first year playing he received the "MVP" award and became the co-captain for the JV squad. During the off season, Tyler played, practiced, and participated with some of the best college schools, clubs, and camps in southern California (USC, Pepperdine, and Stanford). He also started playing for the Huntington club.  When he returned for his senior year he was put on the varsity squad for Edison. That year Edison went to CIF for the first time in 4 years, he then received the "Most Inspirational" award for his commitment and determination to the sport. After high school he went on to play for Orange Coast College where he red shirted his freshman year and still continues to play today.
